Thank you Scott, for bringing awareness to Fibromyalgia and other chronic pain conditions. Yes, medicine is currently harsh for these conditions because so little is known, and millions of people suffer silently, every day, many of them undiagnosed.

The message needs to be spread, and research funding needs to increase. As a former chronic pain sufferer, I started http://www.curetogether.com to bring patients together to compare symptoms and treatments quantitatively on the road to making research discoveries. Our top three communities are chronic pain conditions - endometriosis, migraine, and vulvodynia.

The news from Pain Week is not so encouraging, but if everyone comes together the future can be pain-free, and a life of suffering can be a thing of the past. We need more reporters like you getting the word out. Thank you on behalf of chronic pain sufferers everywhere.
